Autocad Problem Dimafit Line Too Long When Text Above
When I create aligned dimensions in paperspace, I'm having trouble with the 'Move text, add leader' setting. When I move the text close the the dimension, AutoCAD snaps the leader to the tip of the arrow on the dimension line. The part that's so odd is that the leader becomes so long, it shoots off the page. This seems to have something to do with the dimscale value when the dimension is created.
My dimscale is set to 10 for dims in modelspace, but dimensions in paperspace need to be at a dimscale of 1. Is there a way to modify the dimensions after I've created them so this won't happen? Or do I have to keep switching the dimscales when creating dimensions in MS/PS? Agawa Civil Engineer Town of Windsor. No the annotation is attatched to the leader.i know its possible to make it non attached but since cad is not here in front of me i wll have to get back to you on that one. One thing off the top of my head it to type leader s for settings and see what the text settings r 'Darron Agawa' wrote in message news:0B434BB062D9D820CF1EF874FCF36C6E@in.WebX.maYIadrTaRb. > When I create aligned dimensions in paperspace, I'm having trouble with the > 'Move text, add leader' setting.

Agawa > Civil Engineer > Town of Windsor >. Ignore the one above or below which ever is older mis read first time do you turn ur snaps off when moving text/addleader. Generally i set this in my properties dialog box as there may only be 1 or 2 that i have to set it to.and then place text where i would like it to be. I'll post a picture of the two in customer files under the same subject.
