Android Emulator For Windows 7 1gb Ram Usable

I've just installed the Android SDK and create my AVD, but I've got a problem. I'm on a Windows 7 x64, with an Intel i5 and 4GB RAM, so the emulator should run well. But when I start it, on the windows task manager, I can see that it use more than 1GB of RAM! Is it possible?!

So I currently have an I'd say low-medium spec pc, and I tried Nox, bluestacks. Both of them work but can't play anything on them. Specs: AMD A6-5400k Dual-Core 3.60 GHz AMD Radeon HD 7540d 2 GB Ram (1.5gb usable) Will that be enough for android emulating?

You can't: See if you want to fit memory and devices into a 32-bit address range: not all of the available 4GB of address space can be given over to memory. So what actually happens if you go out and buy 4GB of memory for your PC? There's a hole in your memory map for the IO. (Now it's only 25% of the total address space, but it's still a big hole.) The only practical solution is to install a 64-bit operating system. In Windows Vista and later, 32-bit and 64-bit license keys are interchangeable.
