But when I tried an updated OS (XP pro 32bit), it detected the Express Gate USB as a partition for installing the OS. Of course I ignored that and installed the OS on my raid partition. After install, I find a 'extract storage driver' in My PC called 'DVMUSB (E:)'. I know it is the USB where the Express Gate is located but I don't like Windows shows that driver in My PC since somebody could access there and save/delete something as a mistake.

I think this drive shouldn't be in My PC. Anyone know what went wrong? How to hide that driver again from MyPC? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english. Looking here and there, I found Express Gate option had gone from my bios (seems to be a bios issue that it cant detect Express Gate after upgrading and/or overclocking).

So I followed the asus FAQ advice and pressed F5 in bios to load default settings and then exit saving changes. Now the Express Gate option was restored in bios and removed from My PC in Windows:D.but when I booted the system up, the Express Gate splash screen disappeared; I got a black screen instead of it! O_o Then I turned the system off and unplugged the PSU cable for several seconds until the onboard LED (SB_PWR) turned the light off. I rebooted the system again and yess! Everything was ok again! I could solve the problem but I believe that nobody should go through this because of a crappy bios.

I had a express gate problem last week when I updated my bios to Rev 1001. I updated my Express Gate version to 1039 and then powered the system down. I pulled the battery and cleared the cmos. Garmincure3 execution by hanging. Put the battery back in and powered up.
